5/94 OLD VICARAGE

G.V. II

House, formerly vicarage; Late C18 with C19 additions. Coursed
limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and brick, colour washed.
Slate roof with brick gable and 2 ridge stacks. Parallel ranges,
rear part C19. Two storey five bay front, left hand two bays in
brick added in C19. Central C19 panelled door with ashlar surround
flanked by to right two glazed double doors with stone lintels and to
left two tall two light casements, which with the door are covered
by a small verandah with a shaped lead roof. All first floor windows
are C19 glazing bar sashes to eaves.
