South west aspect. Aircraft hangar, one of a group of three. 1917, by the War Office's Directorate of Fortifications and Works. Brick piers, curtain walls and internal pillars, all painted, timber roof trusses, profiled steel covering, but felt or corrugated steel roofing to annexes. (Photo Oct 2012)
