Cottage. Probably C18, enlarged circa 1970. Plastered cob on stone rubble
footings; stone rubble or cob stack topped with C20 brick; thatch roof.
Plan: small 3-room plan cottage facing east-north-east, say east. The left
(southern) room which includes the present entrance hall was added circa 1970. Next
is the main room of the old house and it has an axial (former gable-end) stack
backing onto the extension. At the right end is an unheated former service room.
2 storeys.
Exterior: regular but not symmetrical 3-window front of C20 casements with glazing
bars. The front doorway is left of centre and here is a C20 door in a contemporary
thatch-roofed porch. The main roof is half-hipped to left and hipped to right.
Interior: has plain carpentry detail where exposed.
