At right angles and adjoining No 12. C18, 3 storeys, old brick. Classical doorway
to left with pilasters, and frieze with triglyphs and metopes; a small modern
shop window and new door to right, and a 12-paned sash window and a plaque to
William Beamont, Warrington's first mayor (1797-1880) who practised as a solicitor
for 50 years in this building. 1st floor has 2 16-paned sashes, and another 2
are on 2nd floor but not symmetrical.
All the listed buildings in the Market Place form a group with the side facade of
Ye Olde Barley Mow Public House in Market Street.
