Farmhouse now private house. Circa mid C17. Rendered and painted stone rubble. Rag
slate roof with gable ends. Brick shafts to end stacks.
Plan: 2 room and cross passage plan with larger room on right. Both rooms heated by
end stacks. Kitchen wing to rear right is probably slightly later and heated by end
stack. Left hand gable end rebuilt in late C20 and small service outshut added to
rear left also in late C20, replacing earlier outshut.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Almost symmetrical 3-window front. Two C19 3-light casements
flank a circa early C19 panelled door within a stone rubble gabled C19 porch. Slate
string above ground floor openings. Two C19 3-light casements on first floor flank
C19 2-light casement.
Interior: Ceiling beams replaced and fireplaces altered in C19 and C20. Circa late
C17 or early C18 roof structure to front range, the truss on the left replaced when
the end wall was rebuilt in the C20. Roof structure of rear wing not inspected.
