Pair of half timbered C17 cottages. One storey and attics, thatched roof.
Timber frame with tie beam, sutdding and beaming exposed in gable ends. No 456
has C19 buff brick front with red brick dressings. No 458 has C18 diapered brick
front. Each has single small "eyebrowed" attic casement and 2 wood casements on
ground floor with plain doors. Some beams exposed internally, particularly No 456
where part of roof trusses are visible.
Nos 456 and 458 form a group with Nos 203 and 205 on opposite side of road.
