House, one of 2 similar adjoining houses. Circa early C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Asbestos slate roof with brick chimney over the left hand gable end and over the cross party wall.
Double depth plan: 2 equal front rooms flanking a central cross passage leading probably to a central stair between shallower rear service rooms.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 3 window front with central round-headed doorway. 6-panel door with round-headed top panels; fanlight over with round central pane; debased distyle Doric wooden porch; original hornless sashes: 12 pane sashes to ground floor and 16-pane sashes to first floor.
Interior not inspected.
This house forms part of a semi-planned group around a triangular village 'green
(now enclosed).
