SW 62 NW BREAGE PELLOR ROAD, Breage

7/79 Ivy Cottage and front garden wall

GV II

House and garden wall. Circa early C19. Mixed rubble walls with dressed granite
quoins, jambstones, sills and lintels. Asbestos slate roof with brick chimneys over
gable ends. Cast iron ogee gutters.
Double depth plan: 2 equal rooms at the front, cross passage between leading to
central stair between rear service rooms.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 3 window east road front with central doorway plus high wall
of later -outbuilding on right. Original 6-panel door with top 2 panels later glazed.
Later 4-pane horned sashes.
Interior not inspected.
Rubble garden walls enclose rectangular front garden with gateway, aligned with front
door. Granite monolith round-headed gate piers.
