7/80 Treworlas House and Karinya and
front garden walls

2 adjoining houses and front garden walls. Circa early C19. Roughly coursed granite
rubble walls with dressed granite quoins, jambstones, sills and lintels. Slurried
scantle slate roof over Treworlas House, left, with cast-iron ogee gutter and
asbestos slate over Karinya. Brick chimneys over gable ends and party wall.
Double depth plan: each house with 2 front rooms with cross passage leading to
central stair between shallower rear service rooms, Treworlas House is wider with a
wider left hand room.
2 storeys. Both houses with nearly symmetrical fronts with nearly central doorways.
Treworlas House with 3 first floor windows and Karinya with 2 first floor windows.
Treworlas House has horned sashes, Karinya has C20 Gothic style casements and C20
doors.
Interiors not inspected.
Granite coped garden walls with round-headed granite monolith piers.
