Church room. Circa early C19, with later C19 alterations. Stone rubble, rendered
and painted. Rag slate roof with ridge tiles, some hand-made crested ridge tiles
remaining; gable ends. Truncated rear lateral stack.
Plan: Single room plan, with entrance at the front, formerly heated from a rear
lateral stack.
Exterior: Single storey, on rubble plinth; symmetrical front. Central recesed
doorway with 4-centred arch, plank door with studs and fleur-de-lys strap hinges, of
C17. C19 3-light 2-pane casement with wooden lintel to right and left. Set in the
wall to left is a VR letterbox. The right end is blind. The left end has C19 3-
light mullion and transom window with 2-light casements and toplights. At the rear
there is a large central projection which is the remains of the rear lateral stack.
Interior: Plastered walls and ceiled roof. The feet of the principal rafters of 3
trusses are visible at the wall tops. The rear fireplace is blocked.
