GV II

Lodge to Port Eliot. Mid - late C19 with few later alterations. Slatestone rubble.
Slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends, gable end stack to right and left.
Plan: 2-room plan with C20 service room to rear left. Front rooms heated by gable
ends stacks, L-plan overall.
Exterior: 2 storeys, front has wide gabled bay slightly broken forward to left; all
casements of C20. Bay to left has 3-light at ground floor and 2-light casement at
first floor. Bay to right has plain door with chambered head in lean-to porch with
cast iron panels to sides. 3-light casement at ground floor to right with cambered
head. Left side has external stack. Rear C20 service wing has door and window at
ground floor and window at first floor. Right side has 2-light casement at first
floor; stack at this end heats only the ground floor rooms.
Interior: Not inspected.
