This is a postcard I found in my fathers papers after he died. It is postmarked 12 December 1907. It looks very different to The Hall of today but I understand extensive alterations and extensions were made during the 20th century. My family has long connections with Kilburn. My mother, Hilda Beeston was born at 20 Lower Kilburn in 1902 and my grandmother Harriet Beeston was also born in the village although for reasons unknown at 18 Lower Kilburn.
