and adjoining byre

Farmhouse and adjoining former house, now byre. Former house dated over end
door W.B.M.B. 1700, mid C18 new house. Painted rubble walls partly roughcast
under graduated greens late roof repaired with Welsh slate; brick chimney
stacks. 2-storey 2-bay C18 house (formerly 3 bays) with eaves cornice and
parapet. Former house of 3 bays to left, now byre under renewed common roof.
Present C18 farmhouse has plank door covered by C20 porch. Sash windows in
painted stone surrounds some blocked, those on ground floor with chamfered
surrounds, and smaller fire window to right. Former house has 2-light chamfered
stone-mullioned windows, mostly blocked or partly-blocked. End door has
chamfered stone surround under dated and inscribed lintel. Rear extension to
C18 portion has sash windows in painted stone surrounds.
