Holy well and gates. C18 or early C19 structure on an ancient site. Granite rubble.
Rectangular roofed chamber built into the side of a hill over a natural spring. A
drain leading from the well, against the adjoining hedge, has some remains of a
granite kerb. The well chamber is a simple structure roofed with unhewn granite
lintels. The well is fenced off from the field by 2 circa late-C19 or early-C20
diagonally-braced wrought-iron gates.
