House. C16 or earlier, reworked late C19. Complete red brick outer skin with some
very substantial timber framing exposed internally. Clay tile roofs. 2 storeyed
rectangular block with slightly lower 2 storeyed wings projecting NE and SW. C19
casement windows throughout. E elevation has 6-panel door, top pair glazed, in
line with red brick multiple ridge stack. Main block has another ridge stack, NE
block has gable end stack, SW block has external stack to S side wall. Interior:
largest ridge stack serves substantial ashlar back-to-back hearth. Evidence of
blocked mullioned window. C18 panelling to one room.
