Pair of attached houses. Circa mid C19, with some C20 alterations and addition.
Rendered stone rubble. Tiled roof with gable ends. Gable end stacks and axial stack
with C20 brick shafts.
Plan: The house to right is of one-room plan, with entrance directly into the room,
which is heated from the gable end stack to right. The house to left is also of one-
room plan, heated from the axial stack to left. Probably circa mid - late C19, an
addition of one-room plan was made at the left end, heated from the gable end stack
at the left end. C20 additions at the rear of both houses.
Exterior: The houses are 2 storey, an asymmetrical front. The house to right has
half-glazed C20 door to left, C19 16-pane sash at ground and first floor to right.
The house to left has plank door, with C19 16-pane sash above ; C20 2-light casement
at ground and first floor to left and late C19 8-pane sash at ground and first floor
to end left. The right end is roughcast, with external stack and single storey lean-
to. The left end has external C20 brick stack; also roughcast. Along the rear of
both houses is a C20 2-storey addition.
