Farmhouse, now guest house. Early C19, with some C20 alterations. Slatestone rubble
with granite dressings. Hipped scantle slate roof, the front slope in asbestos
slate, with lead rolls to hips and ridge. Deep bracketed eaves. Stack at the right
side with brick shaft; stack removed to left.
Plan: Double depth plan, with central entrance and principal room of equal size to
front right and left. Service rooms to rear, with an outshut to rear left, probably
of later C19, heated from a stack at the left side.
Exterior: 2 storeys on chamfered granite plinth, a symmetrical 3-window front.
Ground floor has central C20 plank door with overlight, C19 16-pane sash to right and
left; all with granite lintels. First floor has central C19 12-pane sash and 16-pane
sash to right and left, with granite voussoirs. The right side is blind. The left
side has C20 door with overlight and cambered stone arch; C20 window at ground floor
to left. The single storey outshut is to left, with stack with brick shaft. At the
rear, all windows are C19; first floor has two 16-pane sashes to left and one to
right, and tall 24-pane sash lighting the stair, all with flat stone arches. At
ground floor to left is a 25-pane sash with flat stone arch. To right, the outshut
has hipped scantle slate roof, with C20 2-light casement at rear and inner side. C20
glazed porch set in the angle to the main range.
