Farmhouse, now house. Early C17, altered and extended C19 and C20. Random
rubble, double Roman and pantiled roofs, with central stack and external stack
to right. U-plan, former through passage. 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows,
all C19 casements except ground floor left, 16-pane sash in revealed box, C17
panelled central door in scroll-moulded frame, 2 gables with ball finials.
2-storey wing to right contains parlour, possible former dairy and bakehouse
with projecting oven, single storey wing to left contains cider-room. Rear has
projecting 2-storey stair tower and central gable, all C19 and C20 casements
under timber lintels, C19 plank door, gable of bakehouse and central gable have
blocked windows at apex and wooden coped verges. Interior: beams with quarter-
round moulding and scroll stops, hall to right of front door has fireplace with
chamfered lintel with scroll stops and inglenook seat. (Sources: Hall, Linda :
