Pair of C19 cottages. Rubble, in alternate courses of narrow pennant sandstone and
limestone; Double Roman tile roof. Three storeys. One window each; ground floor, low
windows (in No 47, a replacement), first and second floor have 3-light casements under
wooden lintels; in No 47, second floor window blocked and dormer added. Wooden
doorcases and 6-panelled doors. No 47 has later pediment over door, No 45 has flat
hood on brackets.
