House, early to mid C17, of brick-nogged small framing on 1 metre
plinth of brick, with roof replaced in cement slates. l½ storeys; 3
windows. Replaced boarded door under late C19 pentice porch on shaped
brackets. 9-pane casements; that to left in lower storey has a
cast-iron opening light. The bedroom windows are in oak-framed gabled
dormers. Ridge chimney right of centre; evidence of former doorway
opposite chimney suggests a lobby-entrance plan. Small inserted
chimney at front left corner. The oak framing in end gables is
largely intact.
