House, now partly shop. Mid C18-with late C19 alterations. Rendered brick with
painted stone dressings and Welsh slate roof. Three storeys; three asymmetrical
bays, central window with left window almost adjoining and right window some
distance away. Late C19 shop front to ground floor with doorway giving access to
upper floors to far right. Shop front has central recessed half-glazed door with
elaborate panelling to base flanked by canted windows on chamfered sills and stone
plinths, all set in pilastered surround with panelled and fluted pilasters, and
moulded cornice. To far right a 4-panel door below large overlight. Large brackets
supporting moulded hood across full width of facade above. First and second floors
have chamfered rusticated quoins and moulded sill bands, first floor also has
moulded band at lintel level of windows. Three tall sashes with glazing bars to
first floor and two 6-pane sashes to second floor flanking blocked central window.
All windows in Gibbs surrounds with large double keystones. Moulded cornice. Stone
coped gable to right.
