Large barn incorporating timber framing. C17 or earlier origin, with coursed stone cladding of C18,and C20 brickwork. Stone slate roof. Outshut to each side of square headed cart entrance on south side, with blocked opposite entrance. Recent brickwork to right. Addition at 90° to rear not included in the item.

Interior: five bays with aisle and outshuts on south side. Four trusses on posts joined by arcade plate to south and wall plate to north. The north posts of the two east trusses may be encased in the walling, or missing. The trusses are of different builds and a further intermediate truss has been added, supported by the wall at its north end and by the arcade plate at its south end. Trusses are king-post type with struts and braces, except one which has struts only and arched braces. The most easterly truss has an aisle-tie, but no other ties or housings for them are apparent. The tie-beam of the west truss has housings for studs on its underside.
