Late C18 or early C19. Probably the mill owner's house to Dalton Mill. Ashlar.
Hipped slate roof. 2 storeys. Band. Moulded eaves cornice. 3 ranges of
sashes with glazing bars. One late C19 canted bay window each in east and
south fronts. Door with 6 moulded panels and semi-circular fanlight: flanking
panels with fluted capitals and segmental pediment. 2 steps to door flanked
by dies with statues of lions. North side has round-arched staircase window
with intersecting glazing bars.
