Pair of houses. Circa 1870. Hammer dressed stone. Stone slate roof. Two storeys.
South elevation: each dwelling of 3 bays of single sashes. No 38 has inscription on
doorway lintel 'SUNDIAL HOUSE'. Across junction of 2 houses is inclined stone sundial
with gnomon, inscribed: John Sanderson AD 1791. Grade II for sundial.
