Timber posted barn. C17, cladding may be C18. Very thinly coursed
stone with square vent holes to left gable. Quoins. Stone slate
roof. Central, square-headed cart entry with outshut to each side.
Later additions to each side and rear. Two king-post trusses on
posts, the posts to the rear being apparently encased in the wall.
Wall-plate intact at rear. The right truss has struts. The posts
are braced to the tie-beams and the king posts have small braces to
the ridge. Housings in the undersides of the principal rafters,
and the tie-beam of one truss, indicate studding.
