Two rows of sandstone "brick" cottages stepped up hill. Circa 1820-30.
Stone slate roofs with cornice chimneys. Nos 27 to 29 have console bracketed
eaves, dentil brackets to rest. Single and 2 light square mullion windows in
squared surrounds. Plain squared jamb doorways. Included for interest as
unaltered early C19 sequence of cottages.
