to north-east
of Ghyll House

GV II

Barn. Probably late C17 or early C18. Rubble brought to course,
dressed quoins, stone slate roof. Elevation to farmyard has central
doorway with composite jambs and chamfered surround. Mistal doorway
to left at lower end has quoined lintel and chamfered surround. Coped
gables with kneelers. Rear has aisle to one bay with cart entry under
porch with cat-slide roof.

Interior: 3 bays with simple angle-strut trusses either side of central
threshing area.
