Freestanding clock commemorating the marriage of the Duke of York and Princess Mary of
Teck in 1896. Retored 1956, according to inscription on plaque on the south side of
the plinth. Ashlar with 4 detached corner shafts in pink stone. Free Gothic style.
Square in plan. Plinth with set-offs has a plaque on the south side; a 4-centred
arched doorway with wooden door on the north side; a sunk quatrefoil on the east and a
water fountain under an arch and gable on the west side. Above, 4 clock faces under
gables surmounted by a pinnacle.
