Former school and schoolhouse, now offices. Mid C19 with mid C20
restoration. Coursed squared gritstone, blue slate roof. Single storey, 3-
bay range with projecting 2-storey gabled wing to right. In Jacobethan
style. Entrance to right of main range: C20 board door in gabled porch
surmounted by gabled bellcote. Mullioned windows with hoodmoulds, 2 of 3
lights to left; of 1 and 3 lights to wing, ground floor, and 1 and 2 lights
to first floor. Flat-faced stone gutter brackets, gable copings; ridge
stack above entrance with 2 octagonal flues; a 3-flue stack far right.
Rear: C20 board door under hoodmould flanked by 2-light mullioned windows.
3 single and two 2-light dormer windows above eaves line, that to left
probably original, the remainder c1980. Interior not inspected. Included
for group value only.
