SE 3966 BOROUCHBRIDGE MARKET SQUARE 5/57 (south side)

Wall, railings and gateposts to south-west of Boroughbridge Hall II

Wall and gatepost with railings. Early-mid C19. Pink and yellow sandstone ashlar. The gatepiers have cornices and narrower square upper sections with bracketed cornices and pyramidal caps. The coursed stone side walls with a heavy plinth terminate in square piers. Heavy wrought iron railings with ball and spike standards and square or twist baluster piers with larger finials.
