Circa 1700 rebuilt circa 1820 with 3 storeys, 3 window projecting centre and
5 windows wings: 3rd floor added to centre and gabled dormers to wings with 4
window extension at west end and other additions in 1878 when the hotel became
the Harrogate Hydropathic establishment. Slated mansard roof with bracketted
eaves cornice. Squared, coursed grit stone rubble. Recessed sash windows.
Late C19 entrance portico: stucco with console bracketted cornice.
