School, now house. Early C19 with 1847 extension. Sandstone ashlar,
with projecting quoins, Westmorland slate roof, stone stacks. Central
section flanked by 2 cross wings amd classroom extension to rear.
2 storeys, 5 bays, 1:3:1. Central 4-panel door beneath divided oblong
fanlight flanked by sashes with glazing bars. First floor: 6-pane
sashes throughout. Band at eaves level and semi-circular sunk panels to
gables of cross wings. Gable coping. Ridge stacks.
