House. Mid C18 with later additions and alterations including early C19
bays to front and later C19 bow-fronted wing to right. Pinkish brown brick
with reddish-brown brick facade and dressings and ashlar dressings with
Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys, 2 full-height canted bays. Entrance to left
side a 6-panel door under hood with wrought-iron scrolled brackets. Front:
ashlar plinth, continuous sill bands to ground and first floor windows and
first floor band. Ground and first floor have 12-pane sashes. 6-pane
sashes to second floor. All windows under flat arches of gauged brick. C20
shutters to some windows. Double-dentil cornice. Hipped roof, canted bays
roofed separately. Ridge stacks. Mid-late C19 wrought-iron trellis veranda
to left side.
