Pair of houses now post office and shop facing Water Street.
c1800. Deeply-coursed, dressed sandstone; stone slate roof.
EXTERIOR: handed 2-storey pair having central doorways and one
window to each house on each floor. Doorways have bonded
ashlar surrounds; part-glazed, 4-panel door on right, panel
with posting box and stamp machine within doorway to left.
Projecting stone sills to 8/8 sashes in ashlar surrounds.
Acute splay to right gable; stone end stack.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
