Abbey Farmhouse

A Grade II Listed Building in Eye, Suffolk

Eye abbey house

Uploader's Comments

the C18th brick skin hides a house which is partly timber framed, partly flint and stone, which is deemed to have grown around the abbots' lodging in the west range. Remains of the crossing and east end poke out of the gardens to the s.e. of the house, and mouldings can be spotted reused in the walls.
