House, now flats. Early C18 timber-framed rear wing with mid
C18 block attached to east, refronted in stuccoed and
colourwashed brick early C19. Converted to 5 flats late C20.
Slate roof to facade, pantiled rear wing.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey facade. 5-window range. Single-storey
central porch with quadrant corners and double-leaf 3-panel
doors. Fixed overlight with glazing bars. Railings on top
serving balcony approached by French window to first floor.
Fenestration of 8/8 unhorned sashes, reducing to 4/8
disposition at second floor. Ground and first-floor sashes to
second and fourth bays (from left) are blind. Hipped roof with
two stacks on rear slope. 2-storey addition to north under
sloping roof, with one 8/8 unhorned sash to ground floor and a
narrow 4/4 sash to first floor. 2-storey rear wing fitted with
C20 casements.
INTERIOR: timber-framed wing with hollow-chamfered bridging
beams. Plan of front block changed as a result of conversion
to flats. Mid C18 open-string staircase with 3 turned
balusters per tread and ramped moulded handrail. Panelled
dado.
