Range of 3 houses, the north two converted to shops. Late C18.
Timber-framed with gault brick facade of c1850. Slate roof.
2 storeys. 4-window range. To north is a C20 shop display
window. In centre a C20 butcher's shop front with half-glazed
door to its right leading to upper domestic accommodation.
South part (Richmond House) with a C20 horned sash without
glazing bars under a stone lintel is set to right of C20 door.
C19 stone doorcase with scrolled consoles to hood. Late C18
overlight in form of 5 oval glazed panels. 5 first floor 6/6
sashes, the third from left with horns, remainder unhorned.
Hipped roof with ridge stack left of centre. 2-storey rear
wing with further ridge stack.
INTERIOR: mainly of C20 character. Richmond House has early
C19 stick-baluster staircase with ramped and wreathed
handrail.
