Public House, 1786 and 1801. Coursed squared rubble, stone slate roof. Two storeys.
The part originally the public house is of four bays with quoins. The first bay has
3-light recessed square mullion windows. The second bay has the former doorway, with
plain surround and hood. Over this is a plaque lettered BH 1786 and the Tempest Arms.
The third bay has 2-light flush square mullion window above a single light. The
right hand portion, previously a barn or stable, has a flat arched entry with D TE
1801 carved on the keystone. Four stacks.
