House, now 2 houses. C17 with early - mid C19 division and refenestration.
Coursed grey limestone rubble, graduated stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3
bays with 5 first-floor windows. Quoins. To left of bay 2, a blocked C17
doorway with moulded chamfer to the quoined jambs, now with a C20 window.
Inserted doorways in plain surrounds to bays 1 and 3. Bay 1 has original
windows: of 4 lights with one mullion removed and hoodmould to ground
floor, of 3 lights to first floor, both recessed chamfered. The remaining
windows, 2 to ground floor and 4 to first floor, are all square, with plain
sawn or hammered stone surrounds. Interior not seen in detail at resurvey
but a large open fireplace in bay 2 has a 2-stone slightly triangular-
headed lintel and a blocked doorway to bay 1 (now a separate dwelling) to
left. Recessed bay to far left not of special interest.
