GV II

Barn with added horse-engine house. Late C18 barn, with mid C19 wheel-
house. Cobble, with stone slate and Welsh slate roof. Barn: 2 storeys, 4
bays. Quoins. Central ground-floor doorway. Slit vents. Hipped stone
slate roof. In centre, single-storey 4-sided wheel-house added within angle
with single-storey range (not of special interest). Piers at angles, sides
open, Welsh slate roof. Rear: on ground floor, slit vents and 2 inserted
openings; on first floor, 2 windows with projecting sills and deep lintels.
Interior of barn: king-post roof trusses; wheel-house has roof derived from
king-post.
