GV II

Schoolhouse. Early Cl9 with 1851 and late C19 alterations. Slobbered rubble brought
to course, stone dressings. Right-hand gable end to early C19 block. Ground floor
and upper floor window, plain surrounds, casements. 1851 extension to left,
2 storeys, 3 bays. Entrance to right of centre has moulded surround and.decorated
lintel, dated and inscribed I M; segmental head, plank door. 3 ground floor
and 3 upper floor windows have ovolo mullions, 6-pane casements. Eaves modillions
to 2 right-hand bays, but none to left which is later C19 addition. Right-hand
and left of centre ridge stacks.
