Milestone, probably c.1900. Cast iron, bolted onto sandstone support.
Triangular on plan below, rectangular above. Lower part has 'CLITHEROE
10 MILES' inscribed on left-hand face, and 'SKIPTON 8 MILES' inscribed
on right-hand face. Upper part has semi-circular top and is inscribed
'SKIPTON & CLITHEROE ROAD. HORTON'.
