Farmhouse. Mid C18. Brick with stone slate roof and brick gable end stacks (that
to left truncated). 3 storeys. Ground floor has 2 2-light windows with rubbed
brick cambered heads. 4 similar but smaller windows to first floor. 4 small square
2-light windows (inner 2 now blocked) to second floor, flush with eaves. Mostly C20
casements. Entrance in recessed porch in left gable, 6-panel door (upper 2 panels
with semicircular heads). Rear wing with altered fenestration. Interior: fine
original open string staircase with 3 turned balusters to each tread and stocky
turned newel post on curtail step. 6-panel doors with wooden latches, and original
wall-cupboards including one with shaped shelves and 2 panelled doors on H-hinges.
