Japonica Cottage

A Grade II Listed Building in Wateringbury, Kent

Village Shop

Uploader's Comments

Japonica Cottage has two blank windows on its northern facade, which suggests the building had a previous use. Our research uncovered the previous use as a village shop in the 19th and 20th centuries. The two windows on northern facade can be clearly seen with a centrally located door, set back from the street, with timber framed glazing either side. Photo courtesy of ‘Wateringbury Remembered’
