House. Early C18, with later alterations. Front elevation chequered
red and grey brick. First floor of right gable end weatherboarded.
Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and attic. Half-hipped roof. Projecting
red and grey brick gable end stacks. Two gabled two-light dormers.
Regular 3-window front of two three-light casements and one central
two-light casement. Segmental heads to ground-floor windows. Central
door with four flush panels, two top lights and flat bracketed hood.
Rear lean-to. Interior not inspected. Appears in 1719 print of West
Farleigh Hall (Country Life 21st September 1967) Formerly known as
Smith's Cottage or Ivy Cottage.
