Garden wall. C18. Coursed rubblestone. Forms the south west perimeter,
fronting flood Lane, of The Wilderness, a woodland garden whose south
east wall is the north west one of the walled kitchens garden (q.v.)
Rubble stone wall to Ha-Ha on north west side of the wilderness. There
is a diagonal avenue and meandering paths. Within the garden are set
various monuments. Frequented bu the poet William Cowper who lived
at Olney and in Cowper's House, Weston Underwood.
