Early C17 wall memorial. In Latin: The Last Coming of Christ. For this, awaits William Bodenham, alias Bodenden, Esquire. He had two wives. Sence, the daughter of Francis Harrington of South Witham co. Lincoln, Knight, born the heiress of her mother Barbara Sutton of Aram co. Notts; and Isabella, daughter of ? Acorr Quarles of Ufford co. Northants, Knight. He last saw the light and gave up his spirit in the Year of our Lord 1613.

Centre shield with; Quarterly, 1. Azure a fess argent between three chess rooks sable (Bodenham); 2. Barry of six; 3 A talbot statant (keeping the games theme); 4. On a cross five mullets.
On the right another shield with: A fess indented ermine between three Cornish choughs (clearly not martlets). (Photo Apr 2008).
