7/30 Kitchen Garden Walls

Kitchen garden walls. Mid C18. Red English garden wall bond brick
with stone copings. Roughly square in plan. Walls of c.12' high with
buttresses to inner and outer faces. Two oval recesses framing
rectangular windows to north side of south wall giving view through to
forcing house (C20 replacement) on south side. One similar window of
C20 date to southern end of west wall. C20 doorway to centre of south
wall and double gateway to south corner of east wall. The north wall
rises to c.14' in height and the coping is ramped to accommodate a
central C19 lean-to glasshouse with central gable.
