rear of Henbury Hall)

GV II

Stable block and garage block (probably formerly barn). Mid/Late C17
with dated brick facing of 1742. Timber frame with brick infill to
interior with an outer skin of English garden wall bond brick. Slate
roof. Single storey. Courtyard front: Slightly projecting bay to
right of centre with basket arch and double barn doors. Circular
window above. Two stable doors to left and circular window in place
of original pitch hole over. Cambered headed casement windows of one
and two lights and doorway with 4 x 3 pane window immediately over.
Cl9 harness room extension to left and C20 garage extension to right.
Rear: central semi-circular archway with C20 half-glazed doors with
Gothick tracery and dated keystone. Gable over. Gabled bays to
either side with C20 half-glazed doors with Gothick tracery and
circular pitchholes to gables.
Interior: Small framing to rear wall and C18 trusses of king posts
with angle struts.
