House, formerly 4 estate cottages for retired workers. Early C19, possibly a
remodelling of C17 cottages. Rubble; double Roman tiled roof; brick stacks.
2 storeys and attics. 5 bays: 2-light casement windows and central plank door
under brick segmental heads. Avening Green seems to have been developed as an
informal estate hamlet.
